La Celia Pioneer Reserva Malbec 2013

100% estate-grown Malbec.
Uco Valley, Mendoza, ARGENTINA. 1000m asl.

This is an elegant, sweet, black-fruited Malbec with fine structure and textures.

Full, very dark, black-red colour with youthful purple hues. It has a soft and densely packed nose with a fine core of spicy black berry and aromatic black plum fruit, with plum jam, black ink and minerals. Medium-full bodied, the palate is elegantly proportioned with concentrated flavours of black berries and plums, along with spices, ink and oak, and some minerally elements. The fruit is supported by very fine-grained tannins, the extraction balanced and refined, allowing the fruit sweetness to carry through to an elegant finish with good length.

Fermented to 14.5%, and aged 9 months in French and American oak.

Cork / 750ml / 12 bottle case
