Since the 1980’s Argentina has become a leader in the production of outstanding wines. Varieties grown include Malbec, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Chardonnay, Reisling and Torrontes.
5. One of the largest producers
Today Argentina is the fifth largest wine producing nation in the world following only France, Italy, America and Spain.
